(12-14 yrs.) This course involves lecture with an emphasis on hands on field work studying natural sciences. Learn about aquatic ecosystems, energy and matter in the ecosystems, how humans impact the natural world, the many different interactions of living things from microbes to large mammals. Students participate in field work related to soil studies, biodiversity studies, plant and animal studies, and wetlands studies.

(7-12 yrs.) Make fires, build shelters and learn about wild and medicinal plants as we explore how to survive in the wilderness. Hikes, games and art projects will to our adventures. Any supply fee payable to instructor at class.
