(2-Adult) Meet at Cabell's Mill. As dusk approaches, the meadow is lit with fireflies. Join us in illuminating the world of small night creatures. Bring a plastic jar with a lid to catch and then release. Wear long pants, socks and closed shoes. Flashlights and insect repellent are useful.

Civil War Earthworks Walking Tour Click to Register with Parktakes Online
(6-Adult) During the Civil War, the Confederate Army built more than five miles of earthworks in Centreville. Learn about the hidden history in your backyard as you tour the earthworks with Cheryl Repetti, president of the Friends of Historic Centreville Park. This program meets at the Sears-Spindle House, 3417 Mt. Gilead Road. Park across from the house. This before and after camp service provides additional care for children of working parents and is open to children in full day camps at that same location. Campers stay in a safe environment and get to choose from a variety of supervised activities, such as board games, drawing/coloring and age-appropriate movies. This code is for one week. For two week camps, register for both weeks individually.
