(2-Adult) For years, solar eclipses have fascinated people. In this special history program, learn about the history of solar eclipses and how those living in Fairfax County in the 1850s may have experienced eclipses. Then, gather by the campfire as we demonstrate smoking glass and learn just why smoked glass was a bad idea to view eclipses through! We will end the day by making our own pinhole box viewers safe for viewing eclipses through.
