Explore with us the trails, fields and forests of Burke Lake Park and see what Mother Nature is growing just for you. Join our naturalist and learn about the animals that call the lake home. Use scientific equipment such as dip nets, microscopes, minnow traps and game cameras just to name a few. Enjoy a tour boat ride while learning facts about each species and why they are so vital to the lakes health. See live animals up close and be ready to have some fun with hands on learning. Outdoor fun in nature through hikes, games and crafts. Explore and observe insects, trees and animals on the trails at the park. Bring a snack, lunch and drink daily. (3-Adult) Come out to the lakefronts to get one of the best views of the solar eclipse on our tour boat. For the first time in over a century a partial solar eclipse will be visible over the entire U.S. This program will provide you with a rare opportunity to learn about and safely experience the eclipse.
