TITLE: Junior Weebotics w/Parent (4-6 yrs)
DESCRIPTION: In this class, offered by Digital Kidz, students dive into robotics, programming logic and structural design and build a strong foundation of coding and robotics skills for their tech future. Students use pulleys, levers and sensors to construct snapping alligators and spinning robots, then program them using visual drag-and-drop software.

DESCRIPTION: This playgroup offered by KinderJam provides a stimulating environment for young children and their parents/caregivers to enjoy a fun, learning experience through the use of songs, colorful manipulatives and big body play while making friends and building a parenting community. Join us in the soft play room for this interactive community play group

DESCRIPTION: This KinderJam class creates a fun, exciting and high-energy music and movement program emphasizing the kindergarten readiness skills while incorporating physical activity and parent engagement in an effort to develop heart-healthy young learners.

TITLE: LEGO Robotics w/parent (4-6 yrs)
DESCRIPTION: After mastering engineering and programming skills in Digital Kidz Weebotics, students are ready to take it to the next level. Students learn engineering basics with an emphasis on exploration and trial and error, and are encouraged to think critically about how and why their design needs to adapt to changing conditions. Our guided, instruction allows younger kids and their parent to understand more complicated engineering techniques.

DESCRIPTION: In this class offered by Science Cosmos students learn age-appropriate force, speed and predicting-and-measuring concepts by building models with LEGOs. Students learn distance, time and weight measurement while counting, calculating and problem solving. The program is designed for young children to actively build, explore and investigate while having fun. Any supply fee payable to instructor at first class.

An equipment rental fee of $29 payable to VAF is due on the first day of class.
