DESCRIPTION: Prerequisite: Cartooning I. Learn to create a cartoon comic strip by turning a funny story and your unique character into a series of funny drawings using pencil sketches, inking and color to express your humor. Create your own cast of characters, settings and drawing style in classic comic strip layouts. Bring to class a 2B pencil, eraser and a sketch pad. List of required art supplies provided at first class.

DESCRIPTION: Join local naturalist and artist Margaret Wohler on a walk to learn about the plants and animals that live in Huntley Meadows Park then draw things that you discover on the way. Class focus is on basic drawing skills, color theory, perspective, shading, gesture, contour and realistic rendering. Any supply fee payable to instructor at first class.

TITLE: Oil/Acrylic Painting I (Adults)
DESCRIPTION: Learn basic skills including methods and materials. Students with some skill refine and enhance personal styles. Composition, color theory and paint handling are stressed while painting figures, landscapes and still life. Supply fee payable to instructor at first class.
