DESCRIPTION: This gentle yoga class is for those who are unable to get up and down off the floor or who want the extra support of a chair. Students coordinate breath with movement and perform stretches, relaxation techniques and meditation/concentration exercises while using a chair for support.

DESCRIPTION: This class uses the PWR!Moves curriculum of standing circuit exercises to benefit individuals with Parkinson's or other movement disorders. Identified exercises are led by a certified instructor in a fun and functional environment to help participants improve their performance in everyday activities and exercise. A special focus will be added to help participants recognize when they need to self-correct for better posture and balance. Students must be able to get down on the floor and stand up.
