TITLE: Birding on the Boat (8-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Enjoy a naturalist led bird program on a tour boat. Climb aboard and head out onto the lake and take a closer look at some of the birds and animals that call the lake home. Bring binoculars and dress for the weather. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a registered adult.

TITLE: Fall Foliage Kayak Expedition (13+)
DESCRIPTION: If you're as excited about fall colors as we are then you're probably making plans to see them from your favorite spot. We have a secret spot ourselves at Lake Accotink Park, its our kayaks! Join us for an expedition on the lake where you will get the best perspective around. We will be heading towards the northern part of the lake to experience natural tunnels of orange, yellow and red. Previous kayak experience is necessary.

TITLE: Intro to River Kayaking (14-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Get prepped for paddling on the Potomac. This introductory level course covers river hazards, water safety and paddling basics. Fee includes equipment and half-day kayak rental (same day only). Canceled if inclement weather or hazardous river conditions.

TITLE: Kayak Tour-Sunrise over Riverbend 14+
DESCRIPTION: Enjoy breathtaking views as the sun rises over the Potomac River. Paddle with a naturalist and learn about the historical and natural beauty of this island-dotted section of the river. This is not a whitewater tour. No previous experience required. Kayaks provided; one- and two-person sit-on-top kayaks available. TITLE: Kayak Tour-Sunset over Riverbend (14+)
DESCRIPTION: Experience day's end with an upper Potomac River tour. Start with the basics and in a short time you will be maneuvering through the water. This is not a whitewater tour. Tour canceled in case of inclement weather or hazardous river conditions.

TITLE: Potomac Float and Fish (14-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Spend the day fishing from a kayak as we paddle from Algonkian Regional Park to Riverbend in search of smallmouth bass. A Riverbend naturalist leads you to the best holes on this scenic stretch of undeveloped river. Kayak and fishing experience is recommended. Tackle provided; rods available for rent. Bring a bagged lunch. Canceled if inclement weather or hazardous river conditions. VA/MD Fishing License required for anglers age 16 and older.
