TITLE: Intro to River Kayaking (14-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Get prepped for paddling on the Potomac. This introductory level course covers river hazards, water safety and paddling basics. Fee includes equipment and half-day kayak rental (same day only). Canceled if inclement weather or hazardous river conditions.

TITLE: Kayak Mini Float Trip (14-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Our journey begins with a scenic wagon ride from the Visitors Center up-river to our launch site. Then enjoy a 1.5 mile, instructor-led float trip down the river through riffles and flat water. Previous kayaking experience is not necessary. This is not a whitewater tour. TITLE: Kayak Tour-Seneca to Riverbend (14-Adult
DESCRIPTION: This eight-mile river journey begins in the lazy waters above the old Seneca Dam. After this lake-like stretch the pace quickens through riffles and small rapids as we weave through Seneca Breaks, then past Watkins Island, and finally round the bend to Riverbend. DESCRIPTION: Watch for deer foraging on the islands, osprey and bald eagles searching for fish, and more as we paddle through this wildlife-rich section of the Potomac River. TITLE: Kayaking for Fitness (14-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Get fit, relieve stress and have fun soaking up the water's natural beauty. This beginning kayak class teaches flat and moving-water kayaking basics while increasing fitness. Students will progress from flat water to navigating riffles and small rapids. Kayaks are recreational/touring types. Helmets, PFDs, paddles, and kayaks are provided.

TITLE: Potomac Float and Fish (14-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Spend the day fishing from a kayak as we paddle from Algonkian Regional Park to Riverbend in search of smallmouth bass. A Riverbend naturalist leads you to the best holes on this scenic stretch of undeveloped river. Kayak and fishing experience is recommended. Tackle provided; rods available for rent. Bring a bagged lunch. Canceled if inclement weather or hazardous river conditions. VA/MD Fishing License required for anglers age 16 and older.

TITLE: Sunrise Kayak Tour (14-Adult)
DESCRIPTION: Enjoy breathtaking views as the sun rises over the Potomac River. Paddle with a naturalist and learn about the historical and natural beauty of this island-dotted section of the river. This is not a whitewater tour. No previous experience required. Kayaks provided; one- and two-person sit-on-top kayaks available.
