Adapted Fun & Fit (13-22 yrs.)-winter
Designed for teens with developmental disabilities who can participate in a 4:1 ratio. Spend the afternoon learning fitness and wellness skills in a fun and social environment. Some swim time included. Bring lunch, drink, swimsuit and towel daily.
Aqua Adventures (7-12 yrs.)- winter
Come improve basic swimming strokes and diving skills. Activities include water safety, swim clinics, water relays, out-of-pool games/activities and an assortment of water sports like volleyball and basketball. Campers must be able to confidently swim 25 yds, tread water for one minute and be in the water for extended periods of time. Ring in the holiday season with tasty treats. Create bakery-worthy foods and desserts while learning techniques in measuring, food preparation, baking and presentation. Horseback- Tots on the Farm (4-7 yrs.)
Learn about horses and the basics of horse care. Includes a riding lesson. Certified staff and trained volunteers assist participants. Intermediate Riders Workshop (10-15 yrs)
For campers who have a few years of riding experience and are proficient at posting and steering patterns at trot. Camp includes individual lessons on a lunge line as well as advanced horsemanship skills such as horse first aid, nutrition and trailering. NOVA Fencing Club (7-14 yrs.)
A great introduction to the Olympic sport of fencing through fun drills and games. Learn basic footwork and bladework skills from experienced coaches who have developed both national and international competitors and several current Junior Olympians. No experience needed and all fencing equipment will be provided. Fencing occurs during core hours of 9am-3pm. Camp includes indoor/outdoor activities such as playground, soccer, chess and LEGOs.
