Dog Agility for Fun of It III (13-Adult)
Prerequisite: Dog Agility for the Fun of It II/Competitive Dog Agility II. Class is designed for dogs with an excellent command of all equipment and handlers ready to learn skills such as front and rear crosses, serpentines and pinwheels. Full courses are run using all of the equipment. Dogs must be able to handle each apparatus off leash. Bring dogs to first class.

Prerequisite: Dog Obedience I. Class offers an introduction to the fun sport of dog agility. This class is not competition oriented. Dogs must be at least one year old. Dogs and handlers learn teamwork, targeting and handling skills basics. Class utilizes agility equipment. Attendance at first class is required. Bring dogs to first class.

Prerequisite: Agility for the Fun of it I or Dog Agility I. More fun with agility sequences and obstacle performance. Dogs must know obedience behaviors sit, lie down, stay and come and be reliable off leash. Confidence in performing contact obstacles (A-frame and dog walk) is required. Bring dogs to first class.

ABCs and 1-2-3s (2-3 yrs)
Learning can be fun when teaching children their letters and numbers through hands-on crafts. Kids learn how to associate a sound with each letter and number from the craft they make in class. Parent must attend class with the 2-3 year-old-age group. Additional supply fee payable to instructor.

Bluegrass Series Season Pass
This Sunday performance series, held at Frying Pan Farm Park's Visitor Center, showcases some of the best of local and regional Bluegrass musicians. Food and beverages are available. Doors open at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the door the night of the show. All sales are final. Season Pass guarantees reserved seating for all shows. Please contact Frying Pan Park staff at 703-437-9101 to make your selections. Artists include Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, Frank Solivan and the Dirty Kitchen, Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, The Crowe Brothers, Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, Clay Hess Band and Nora Jane Struthers and the Party Line.

Bluegrass-Springfield Exit
10/05/14 After working on several of Cracker Barrel's Heritage Series CDs in early 2002, Linda and David Lay, along with David McLaughlin, decided to perform a few shows. Their first concerts resulted in standing ovations and rave reviews so they decided to keep going. They subsequently added two of McLaughlin's band mates from the influential 1980's group, The Johnson Mountain Boys: Tom Adams and Marshall Wilborn. The group performs original songs and their own unique arrangements of songs and instrumentals pulled from a wide variety of musical genres. Doors open at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm. The series at the park's visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park and Vienna hardwoods in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority. Food and drinks available for purchase. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.
