Junior Equestrian
Hands-on, unmounted class offers an overview of horse basics. Groom, lead and exercise a horse, learn about tack and equipment, and practice horse care and handling. Help with feeding, first aid, and horse care.

After-School on the Farm (K-3rd)
This monthly after-school program offers weekly enrichment programs that include science, math and nature through indoor/outdoor games, farm visits, hikes, playground time, arts and crafts and learning centers. This program is for students K-3. Afternoon buses from Floris Elem will take students after school to the Frying Pan Schoolhouse. Parents must pick up children by 6:15pm. No after care on these school holidays: Oct 8, Nov 5-6, Nov 22-23 Dec 24-31, Jan 21 and Jan 28-29

This monthly after-school program offers weekly enrichment programs that include science, math and nature through indoor/outdoor games, farm visits, hikes, playground time, arts and crafts and learning centers. This program is for students K-3. Afternoon buses from Floris Elem will take students after school to the Frying Pan Schoolhouse. Parents must pick up children by 6:15pm. Learn about farm and forest animals on our working farm. Daily activities include farm visits, nature hikes, games, songs and crafts. Camp meets at the Old Floris Schoolhouse at the park. Children must be potty trained. Dress in comfy play clothes, Bring snack, lunch and drinks daily. Curriculum repeats every four weeks. Campers stay in a safe environment and get to choose from a variety of supervised activities, such as board games, drawing/coloring and age-appropriate movies. This code is for one week. For two week camps, register for both weeks individually. *Lake Fairfax extended care for full day Nature's Adventures campers.

The World Around Us (3-5 yrs)
Preschoolers will journey through the basics of science exploration and discovery! Children will see how light and color interact, learn about energy and motion and even explore the animal kingdom with worms, fins, feathers and fur! Dog Agility for the Fun of It (13-Adult)
Prerequisite: Dog Obedience I. Class offers an introduction to the fun sport of dog agility. This class is not competition oriented. Dogs must be at least one year old. Dogs and handlers learn the basics of building teamwork, targeting and basic handling skills. Class utilizes agility equipment. Attendance at first class is required. Bring dogs to first class.

Dog Agility for the Fun of It II (13+)
Prerequisite: Agility for the Fun of it I or Dog Agility I. More fun with agility sequences and obstacle performance. Dogs must know obedience behaviors sit, lie down, stay and come and be reliable off leash. Confidence in performing contact obstacles (A-frame and dog walk) is required. Bring dogs to first class.
