Bluegrass-Jimmy Gaudreau/Moondi Klein
03/20/16 This duo delivers an eclectic musical amalgam drawing from their collective roots. Jimmy's non-standard and instantly recognizable mandolin style grew from his start fronting surf-rock bands. Moondi Klein's impressive vocal acrobatics started on the Metropolitan Youth Opera stage and led him to sing lead vocals with prominent bluegrass bands. This duo delights in pulling musical rabbits out of hats, often surprising themselves as well as the audience at each musical twist and turn. Doors open at 6pm and showtime is at 7pm. The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna Hardwoods and Eastman Guitars and Mandolins in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority. Food and drinks, including beer and wine are available for purchase. Tickets: $18/advance, $20 at the door.
