Jr. Farmer Family Fun
This family program goes behind the scenes to help the farmers at Frying Pan Farm Park. Come help with farm chores such as milking the cows, feeding the animals, and shelling corn. Topics and activities vary. Children must be accompanied by an adult registered in the program.

Frying Pan Fridays: Fall
Join us for 2 special Friday events this fall. In September we will offer a folk music, stories, and games campfire in the farm yard. In October, we will meet at the Meeting House for ghost stories and learn about the Grey Ghost, himself, John Singleton Mosby. Dress appropriately for cooler outside temperatures.

Bluegrass-Joe Mullins & Radio Ramblers
10/02/16 Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers make each song distinctly their own, while respecting the tradition that lies at the heart of bluegrass. Their exciting stage shows and popular recordings keep them in high demand, performing at high-profile venues such as Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman and the Grand Ole Opry. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show time is 7 p.m. The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna Hardwoods and Eastman Guitars and Mandolins in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority. Food and drinks, including beer and wine, are available for purchase. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door.

Bluegrass Series Season Pass
Support the Bluegrass Barn by becoming a season pass holder. Season pass costs $112 and includes admission to all shows plus prime reserved seating. All sales are final. Advance purchase online, your name will be on a roster, please present ID. The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna Hardwoods and Eastman Guitars and Mandolins in cooperation with Fairfax County Park Authority. Doors open at 6pm and showtime is at 7pm. Food and drinks, including beer and wine, are available for purchase. Artists include Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers, Bill Emerson & Sweet Dixie, April Verch, Chris Henry & HardCore Grass, Sweet Yonder, Steve Gulley & New Pinnacle and The Box Cars.

Bluegrass-Bill Emerson & Sweet Dixie
10/30/16 Bill Emerson was born in Washington DC and makes his home in Vienna, Virginia. He started singing and playing the banjo in 1953 and went on to become a founder of the world famous Country Gentlemen. He's played with Jimmy Martin's great Sunny Mountain Boys, Red Allen and Emerson & Waldron and became the leader for the the Navy's Country Current band. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show time is 7 p.m. The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna Hardwoods and Eastman Guitars and Mandolins in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority.
