Dog Obedience II (14-Adult)
Prepares owner for off-lead work with the basic commands. For dogs at least 8 months old who have successfully completed at least one basic course for both dog and owner. Dogs should not display aggression or fear. Prerequisite: Dog Obedience I or equivalent.

Prerequisite: Dog Obedience II or equivalent. Rally obedience exercises and corresponding signs from the beginner through expert level are taught. The handler-dog team practices a new course each week.

Dog Agility for Fun of It III (13-Adult)
Prerequisite: Dog Agility for the Fun of It II/Competitive Dog Agility II. Class is designed for dogs with an excellent command of all equipment and handlers ready to learn skills such as front and rear crosses, serpentines and pinwheels. Full courses are run using all of the equipment. Dogs must be able to handle each apparatus off leash. Bring dogs to first class.

Starlight Compass Night Hike
(5-Adult) Before GPS, travelers used the stars to guide their way. Find out what celestial navigation is, learn some of its history and try it out in an exploratory activity around the farm. Finish with a short hike to look at the stars. Children must be accompanied by an adult registered in the program. Please dress for the weather.

Quilting-All Levels (13-Adult)
Learn modern quilt construction basics. Subjects covered include fabric and thread selection, rotary cutting methods and piecing methods. Also included are instructions for finishing a quilt including sandwiching, quilting and binding. This is an ongoing class with students at all stages of their chosen project.

Bluegrass Series Season Pass
Support the Bluegrass Barn by becoming a season pass holder. Season pass includes admission to all shows plus prime reserved seating. All sales are final. Advance purchase online, your name will be on a roster, please present ID. The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna Hardwoods and Eastman Guitars in cooperation with Fairfax County Park Authority. Doors open at 6pm and showtime is at 7pm. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Artists include Circa Blue, Sideline, Chris Jones & the Night Drivers, The Boxcars, Mile Twelve, Nothin' Fancy, Darrell Webb Band and By & By.

Bluegrass-Circa Blue
10/08/17 Circa Blue embraces both the hard core and the soft edges of bluegrass, not completely traditional and not completely contemporay. Tight vocal harmonies, clean instrumentation and creative arrangements are hallmarks of this talented group. Steve Harris on guitar, Jacob Bly on bass, Matt Hickman on banjo and Malia Furtado on fiddle complete this engaging band. Doors open at 6pm and showtime is at 7pm. Equine Assisted Learning Workshop 4+
This Program for families or small groups is designed to provide safe and fun learning experiences with horses. One hour sessions of ground work with limited mounted activities are facilitated by Certified EAL instructors offering unique learning experiences on trust, communication, empathy, boundaries, conflict resolution and patience which can be applied to everyday life. Base fee is for up to five participants. Additional participants can be added for an additional fee. Maximum group size of ten.
