Celebrate international salamander awareness day by taking a stroll through salamander habitat. Well try to find one or two and delve into the life of these secretive creatures and their role in forest health. Meet at the 6901 S. Kings Hwy. entrance. Please remove all dirt/mud from your shoes before arriving and we'll spray our shoes on arrival to help prevent pathogens. The walk length is 1.5 miles. No restrooms available at this entrance. Children 16 and under must be registered by accompanied adult.

Summer Solstice Sketch Ride Click to Register with Parktakes Online

(13-Adult) Come take a sketch tour on the wild side of the park on the longest day of the year! We'll be learning some drawing basics while exploring by bike, the meadow and forest habitats. Please bring your bike, water and a backpack to stow your art supplies. All materials are provided including a sketch field kit compliments of the the RunningBrooke Fund. The ride is along flat pavement for a total of 3 miles. Meets at the South Kings Highway entrance.
