Start Time/Day:  4:30pm Mon
This course involves lecture with an emphasis on hands on field work studying Natural Sciences. Come learn about aquatic ecosystems, energy and matter in the ecosystems, how humans impact the natural world, the many different interactions of living things from microbes to large mammals. Students will participate in field work related to soil studies, biodiversity studies, plant and animal studies, and wetlands studies.

Start Time/Day:  1pm Mon
Students explore marsh, meadow, and forest to learn about patterns of change, plant characteristics, animal life needs and observation. Basic reading and writing skills required and be comfortable working in a group.

Students investigate the interrelation between earth cycles, ecosystems, and functions of plants and animal processes at the cell level. Examine human impact on ecosystem health. Basic reading and writing skills required and be comfortable working in a group.

Location:  Huntley Meadows Park
Start Time/Day:  4:30pm Wed
Through activities, crafts, journals and trail walks, students learn about animals and how nature is preparing for the changing season. Students also learn about the park and improve their observation and interaction skills. Students should dress for the weather.
